Unique and patented hollow fiber nanofiltration technology

Revolutionary technology offering sustainable solutions for filtration applications. Based on extensive IP and know-how of membranes and modules.

NX Filtration’s inside-out hollow fiber membranes are based on unique recipes and innovative patented production methods. The base material for our membranes is PolyEtherSulfone (PES). This provides an ideal chemical and thermal stability for use in robust filtration processes. Compared to other membrane materials, PES enables the production of membranes with very small pore sizes and narrow pore size distribution.

Unique high pressure header concept

Our headers are designed to enable a low footprint of our modules in a skid, utilizing standard connections when possible and our own designs when essential.

High-end potting

High resistant (thermal, chemical, mechanical) epoxy resin, with FDA and potable water approvals.

Specialised module design

Module design for the most optimal flow conditions, while also ensuring high packing densities.

Unique support formulation

Dense support structure for high pressure rating and with either positive or negative charge to ensure optimal selective layer adhesion. This allows us to guarantee process integrity e.g. during backwashing.

Effective first layer technology

First selective layer is applied in-line using a proprietary process. This not only saves resources, but also prevents any defects.

Precise selectivity

Selectivity based on a polyelectrolyte multilayer that is applied in a Layer-by-Layer manner/concept. This allows for an unique precise control of the membrane properties on a nanometer level
